Screen Recorder
Record your screen, tab or window directly in the browser.
• Recordings are saved as WebM (VP9) and stored in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
• Works in Chrome and Edge. Firefox may have limited support.
• Tab audio capture depends on your browser permissions.
Record your screen, a specific window, or a browser tab directly in the browser using the Screen Capture API. Optionally include microphone audio. Recordings are saved as WebM files — completely private, nothing uploaded.
Key Features
Screen capture API
Uses navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia() — works with full screen, individual windows, or specific browser tabs.
Optional microphone
Mix microphone audio with the display stream so you can record tutorials with narration.
Live preview
A mini preview window shows what is being captured so you can verify the correct source is selected.
Multiple recordings
Each stop creates a new recording entry with playback, duration, file size, and a save button.
How to Use
- 1Toggle microphone audio on or off.
- 2Click Start Recording — the browser will prompt you to select your screen, window, or tab.
- 3Record your content, then click Stop Recording.
- 4Play back the recording in the browser or click Save to download the WebM file.
