AI Content Detector
Detect whether text was written by AI or a human.
0 words
Quick scan: overall AI probability with key signals. Best for a fast check. Use at least 100 words for best accuracy.
Analyse any text and get a probabilistic AI-detection score from 0% (likely human-written) to 100% (likely AI-generated). The tool identifies specific patterns that distinguish AI output — robotic transition phrases, unnaturally even sentence structures, absence of personal voice — and explains each signal clearly. Quick Scan gives an overall score with up to five detected signals. Deep Scan goes further, breaking the text into paragraphs and scoring each one individually, so you can see exactly which sections read as AI-generated. Results are probabilistic and should not be used as definitive academic or professional proof.
Key Features
Quick scan mode
Analyses the full text and returns a single AI probability score (0–100), a verdict (Human / Uncertain / AI), a plain-English summary, and up to five detected signals. Fast and useful for a first-pass check on any length of text.
Deep scan mode
Splits the text into its natural paragraphs and scores each one individually. Results show a mini score bar for every paragraph, a snippet of the text, and a one-sentence reason for the score. Ideal for identifying which sections of a longer document are AI-generated so you can rewrite just those parts.
AI probability score (0–100)
A single integer score summarises the overall likelihood that the text was written by an AI model. Scores of 0–30 indicate likely human-writing, 31–69 indicate uncertain or mixed content, and 70–100 indicate likely AI-generated text.
Visual score bar
A colour-coded progress bar gives an instant visual reading alongside the numeric score — green for human, yellow for uncertain, red for AI. The bar animates on load so changes in score are immediately noticeable when re-checking revised text.
Detected signals with explanations
Each signal is labelled — such as "Repetitive phrasing", "Absence of contractions", "Uniform sentence structure" — and marked as an AI indicator or human indicator with a brief explanation. This helps you understand what to fix if you want to humanize the text.
Plain-English verdict and summary
A one-sentence plain-English summary explains the overall verdict. The verdict badge (👤 Likely Human / 🤔 Uncertain / 🤖 Likely AI-Generated) makes the result scannable at a glance without reading the full signal breakdown.
How to Use
- 1Paste the text you want to check — use at least 100 words for best accuracy.
- 2Choose Quick Scan (overall score + signals) or Deep Scan (paragraph breakdown).
- 3Click "Detect AI Content" or "Deep Scan".
- 4Read the score, verdict badge, and signal cards.
- 5Use Deep Scan results to identify which paragraphs to humanize or rewrite.
